Dutch Bros Coffee is expected to open in Patterson in the fall. Pictured here is its McHenry Avenue, Modesto, location.
An iconic western states coffee franchise is coming to the apricot capital.
Patterson’s first Dutch Bros Coffee will be at 2930 Sperry Ave., just off Interstate 5. It’s the coffee chain’s first location on the West Side and the seventh in the county overall.
Madison Fahey, a spokesperson for Dutch Bros, said the location ideally will open in October, but the timeline could change. “We’re hoping to open our shop in Patterson this fall and typically look to hire about 40 employees for each of our new locations,” Fahey wrote in an email to the Bee.
Interested applicants can apply through the Dutch Bros website.
According to the website, all open locations in Stanislaus County are accepting job applications. Currently, Modesto and Turlock have two locations each, while Ceres and Oakdale have one apiece.
Dutch Bros is expected to open its eighth Stanislaus County location, at 2300 Patterson Road in Riverbank, by the end of 2023. Those interested in keeping up with employment opportunities can monitor the Dutch Bros website’s “Careers” page.
Ahead of the locations opening in Patterson and Riverbank, customers can check out a “secret menu,” which features the kinds of drinks and flavors available. According to Fahey, food options include chocolate chip, lemon poppy seed, and orange cranberry muffin tops, in addition to a granola bar.
“Drinks available at the new location (will) include specialty coffee, smoothies, freezes, teas, exclusive Dutch Bros Blue Rebel energy drinks and nitrogen-infused cold brew coffee,” Fahey wrote.
The first Dutch Bros in Stanislaus County opened in Oakdale in late August 2020.
